Viewing and Synchronising your Local and iCloud Round and Player Data (L)
‘Record Overview‘- Viewing your Local and iCloud records is straight forward. Note: depending upon the speed of your connection to iCloud you may have to wait for a few or several seconds to have this page reflect the iCloud status.
This page displays the number of both Round and Player Records that are Local ( in your IOS device ) or in iCloud.
There are two buttons to examine the records further ‘Examine Local v iCloud Records’ and ‘Examine Local v iCloud Players’ both of these options open a new screen which is divided vertically in the centre. Records on the top of the screen are ‘Local’ records while records at the bottom of the screen are ‘iCloud’ records. Note: depending upon the speed of your connection to iCloud you may have to wait for a few or several seconds to have this page reflect the iCloud status. Once the upper and lower tables have loaded you can press the ‘Find Differences’ button and any records that are new or have been edited since saving to iCloud will remain.
Unlike the Player and Round Records these tables also show the date of the last record update so that you can determine which record is the one to keep, save or delete. Note: Where two local records have the same date and appear to be identical the most recently edited one will be displayed first in the table.
To upload a new record just ‘Select a Round to Transfer’ and press ‘Transfer to iCloud’ or ‘Restore from iCloud’. Transferred rounds are check marked for your convenience. If you reenter this page after Syncing Rounds you will see ‘All Rounds Synchronised’. The Player Synchronisation is identical except it manages Player records.
